Thanks to its latest trailer, we know that the new Mundfish, Atomic Heart, will be released between September and December. After this preview, we had the opportunity to chat with the development team and learn a little more about this promising shooter they have in hand. During our interview, we discovered something that will surely make many players breathe a sigh of relief.
Because we asked Mundfish if Atomic Heart will have a kind of microtransaction, NFT, loot boxes or any other monetization item. The answer given to us by the Russian team was quite clear:
“Atomic Heart is a full-price, no-frills AAA single-player adventure, period. Of course, we’re watching the industry evolve, and there are some interesting trends to explore in the future. We’ll be sharing plans for DLC that we have a head start.” , Y we are not planning to introduce NFT at this time.”
They are left out of the launch, but that opens the door for their inclusion in the future. For now, Atomic Heart’s plans after launch seem to revolve solely around DLC which we’ll know more about at another time.
