Skull and bones
Skull and Bones has been delayed for the sixth time, but Ubisoft has announced that it will have an open beta before its March 2023 release.
There are few games that can be considered truly “cursed”, and Skull and Bones is one of them.. Nine years have passed since development began, and the game was supposed to be released in 2018. Ubisoft has delayed it five times since it was announced, and now the sixth has arrived, which has confirmed it won’t be released until next year.
Skull and Bones will now be released on March 9, 2023 on PS5, Xbox Series X|S and PC via Epic Games Store and Ubisoft Store. “Although development of the game is complete at this point, the extra time will be used to further refine and balance the experience using player feedback from our technical tests and the Insider Program that has taken place over the past two weeks,” Ubisoft said in a statement.
“This is the right decision for our players and the long-term success of the gameas March 9, 2023 provides an appropriate launch window for this unique new brand,” they added.
It’s not all bad news, because there will be an open beta before its release “to ensure players get a first-hand look at the dangerous world of Skull and Bones.” Hopefully this is the last delay the game suffers; Meanwhile, you can see its requirements for PC.
