Credicorp Capital Asset Management launches its first real estate rental fund in the United States, one of the most attractive places for Latin American investors. This opportunity stems from a strategic alliance with Independencia Asset Management LLC.
With this fund, Credicorp is building an additional gateway for its clients to consolidate their US dollar investments and build a diversified portfolio of for-profit US real estate assets.
The investment strategy will be focused on residential and commercial properties with small to medium improvement needs that can upgrade them and increase their flows, generating value for our investors.
This new vehicle plans to raise up to US$100 million regionally, which will be co-invested with Independencia AM. In this way, our investors will be able to participate in a portfolio of international scope valued at more than 900 million US dollars with an accessible minimum investment.
It should generate a net return in dollars of between +10 and 12% per year.
This fund seeks to position itself as a complement to clients’ current positions and aligns with their long-term goals, providing them with the opportunity to access the world’s leading and deeper real estate market.
The focus is on identifying spaces left behind by large institutional investors, allowing greater pricing bargaining power and impact on real estate transformation projects to maximize their value.
“At Credicorp Capital, we know how attractive real estate funds are, as they offer protection even in times of great uncertainty, due to their ability to generate stable and predictable income, linked to inflation and with less volatility compared to other types of investments.” , concludes Adriana Hurtado Uriarte, executive director of real estate investments at Credicorp Capital Asset Management.
